Kieran Maher is a Cyber Security Consultant and qualified Expert Witness (UK Register of Expert Witnesses, Bond Solon) with over eight years of experience spanning digital forensics, eDiscovery, software litigation, and enterprise security engineering. He holds a BSc in Digital Forensics from the University of Central Lancashire and has contributed to more than 30 expert reports covering software fitness-for-purpose, system failure analysis, and large-scale eDiscovery exercises using platforms including Relativity and Intella. Kieran has been both assistant and named expert on complex civil litigation matters, with experience conducting forensic acquisitions, performing code review across multiple programming languages, and authoring technical opinions in plain language for legal teams. His background in incident response, cloud security architecture, and SIEM engineering at enterprise scale — including roles at Aviva and Dentsu — gives him a practical grounding in how software and systems behave in real organisational environments, which informs the quality and defensibility of his expert analysis.
